My Story

Film Editor, Videographer, Drone Pilot, Photographer...

...Adventurer, Traveler, Restless Soul, and Story Teller.

I was born in 1988 to a single teenage mother. My adopted father came along when I was 5.

I grew up in the deep south just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana.

My parents and I didn't get along very well in my adolescence, so at the age of 18 I left home and spent the next 6 months either couch-surfing or homeless. Filling myself with every new experience I could find.

I have sung and/or played guitar in 5 bands throughout my life, spanning genres from hardcore to indie to electro-dance.

I graduated college with a B.A. in Film while male-dancing at a gay bar to pay the bills. It took me 7 years with 10 changes to my major from Sociology to Physics to Poetry.

I worked as a Video Editor and Camera Operator for a large digital media ad agency for two years right out of college after a 6 month unpaid internship.

I've fallen in and out of love multiple times. The third time was the charm; we tied the knot in April of 2016.

My son was born on May 1, 2018 and I love him more than anything in this world.

I started my Wedding Videography business in 2016 which has maintained great success due to the quality of product I provide.

I have been a Christian, a Buddhist, and an Atheist.

I have Co-Produced and Edited two feature films, "The God Inside My Ear" and "Sister Tempest" and I hope to make a career as a Film Editor.

I have traveled throughout this country and many others, making beautiful friends along the way.

I have come to peace with those who have wronged me and those who I have wronged in the past, including reconciliation with my parents, former loves. and old friends and enemies alike.

What I am hoping to convey here is that I have lived a life.

For me, cinema is the best way to define exactly what that means; a love and a passion, a therapy and a religion.

Sure, I can make whatever you want look professional and cinematic. Film School and work experience have taught me that.

But what sets me apart from others is my relationship with the experience of life through the lens of a camera.
